Answers to what people usually ask about the launch schedule, how the app is used, and how external data is handled.
What is Travplan?
Travplan is a travel-prep app that lets you register a destination and dates, save the places you want to visit, and organize them into a day-by-day itinerary. From that itinerary, it also helps you review AI expense estimates, destination weather, and packing suggestions in one place.
Can I download Travplan today?
The Travplan Android app is available to download now on Google Play. The iOS app is coming soon, and you can sign up on the landing page to receive an email notification when it launches.
How does the AI expense estimate work?
Estimates are calculated from your registered city, dates, travelers, and saved places, broken down by categories such as lodging, transport, food, sightseeing, and shopping. Actual spending can differ, so the numbers are meant to be used as reference figures while planning your budget.
Which external data sources are used?
Travplan may use Google Maps and Google Places for maps and place data, Naver Web/Blog for Korean content references, Open-Meteo for weather, and public exchange-rate APIs for currency. External data is used only as reference information to support planning.
How accurate are the weather and packing suggestions?
Destination weather is based on public forecast data such as Open-Meteo and can differ from actual local conditions. Outfit and packing suggestions are guidance derived from temperature and precipitation forecasts, and are meant to be used as a reference rather than a guarantee.
Are there any paid plans?
Pricing has not been finalized. At launch, core features such as trip planning, saving places, AI expense estimates, and weather checks are being prepared to be free to use. Any future paid plans and conditions will be announced separately after launch.
