Travplan Terms of Service

These Terms of Service set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and conditions of use between Travplan Operator and users in connection with the Travplan service (hereinafter 'Service' or 'App') provided by Travplan Operator.

• 'Service' refers to the app and related web services provided by the Operator that allow users to view and manage travel itineraries, destinations, places, budgets, weather, exchange rates, maps, and related information.
• 'User' refers to an individual who uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
• 'Account' refers to the identification unit created or linked by a user through an authentication method provided by the Operator, such as Google Login, to use the Service.
• 'Travel Itinerary' refers to information such as cities, travel periods, places, day-by-day plans, and budgets that a user registers or saves in the app.
• 'Saved Place' refers to place information that a user saves to the Service or adds to an itinerary for travel planning purposes.
• 'External Information' refers to information such as maps, places, prices, weather, exchange rates, and business information provided through external sources including Google Maps, Google Places, weather APIs, exchange rate APIs, web search, and public web pages.

• These Terms take effect when a user uses the Service or completes account registration or login.
• The Operator may amend these Terms as necessary due to changes in applicable laws, service policies, features, or operational needs.
• When the Terms are amended, the Operator may notify users of the changes through appropriate means such as in-app notices, the website, or email.
• If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service or request account deletion.
• If a user continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the user may be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

The Operator may provide users with the following features.

• Creating, editing, deleting, and viewing travel itineraries
• Searching and recommending cities, destinations, and places
• Saving places and scheduling them by day
• Displaying map-based place information and route information
• Travel budget estimation and per-item budget information
• Weather information based on travel destination
• Exchange rate and currency conversion information based on travel destination currency
• Other travel convenience features additionally provided by the Operator

The specific features of the Service may be changed, suspended, or restricted depending on the Operator's policies, development status, and the availability of external APIs.

• Users may access the Service through Google Account linked login.
• When using Google Login, Google's terms of service and privacy policy may also apply.
• Users are responsible for securely managing access to their accounts and bear responsibility for activities that occur under their accounts.
• If unauthorized use of an account is suspected, the user must immediately notify the Operator.
• The Operator may restrict the use of an account or take necessary action if fraudulent use, security risks, or violations of these Terms are suspected.

• Travel destinations, places, budgets, weather, exchange rates, maps, travel times, and business information provided through the Service are reference information intended to help users plan their trips.
• External information may be provided through Google Maps, Google Places, public web pages, search results, weather APIs, exchange rate APIs, web crawling, or other external data providers.
• The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, or continued availability of external information.
• Opening hours, admission fees, transportation, exchange rates, weather, and operating status of places may change at the time of actual use. Users should verify such information directly through official websites, on-site guidance, reservation channels, or the relevant business before visiting.
• The Service does not directly provide reservations, purchases, or brokerage for flights, accommodation, attraction tickets, transportation passes, or travel packages. If reservation or payment features are added in the future, separate terms or notices will apply.

• The budget estimation feature of the Service is a reference tool that calculates estimated amounts based on travel itineraries, places, categories, and external price information registered by the user.
• Budget information may vary depending on actual payment amounts, on-site prices, exchange rates, taxes, fees, number of people, and selected options.
• Exchange rate information is provided based on external exchange rate APIs or publicly available exchange rate data and does not represent official rates for financial transactions or payments.
• Users should verify information from official vendors and financial institutions before making actual payments or travel reservations.

• The Service may display weather information based on travel destinations, cities, or places registered by the user.
• The Service does not collect users' real-time GPS location or current location.
• Maps, weather, travel times, and route information provided by the Service are based on data from external APIs and data providers and may differ from actual conditions.
• Users must verify important matters such as safety, transportation, weather, disasters, and entry restrictions through official authorities or local guidance.
• If features using location information, such as recommendations based on current location, nearby place search, or GPS-based route guidance, are added in the future, the Operator will establish separate notices and required consent procedures.

The Service may integrate with the following external services or APIs.

• Google OAuth: Login and account authentication
• Google Maps / Google Places: Maps, place search, place information display
• Supabase: Authentication, database, server, and storage functions
• Vercel: Web or frontend service deployment and operation
• Open-Meteo or other weather APIs: Travel destination weather information
• Open Exchange Rates or other exchange rate APIs: Exchange rate information
• Naver web/blog and other public web information: Reference information on places and prices
• Apify or similar automation tools: Collection and organization of public web information

The use of each external service is subject to the terms, policies, outages, and usage restrictions of the respective provider. The Operator is not responsible for service limitations caused by outages, errors, data changes, or policy changes of external services, except where such limitations are due to the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, in which case applicable law applies.

Users must not engage in the following activities when using the Service.

• Unauthorized use of another person's account or personal information
• Submitting false information, impersonation, fraudulent login, or unauthorized access
• Placing abnormal loads on the Service's servers, APIs, databases, or networks
• Unauthorized collection or duplication of the Service using automated tools, scraping, or crawling
• Infringing on the rights of the Operator or third parties, including copyrights, trademarks, personal information, and trade secrets
• Acts that violate applicable laws, public order, or morals
• Acts that interfere with the normal operation of the Service

• Rights to data such as travel itineraries, places, notes, and budgets entered or saved by users in the Service belong to the users.
• The Operator may store, process, and display user data to the extent necessary for providing, storing, syncing, backing up, error checking, and improving the Service.
• Users must ensure that the information they enter is lawful and does not infringe on the rights of third parties.
• If a user requests account deletion or data deletion, the Operator will delete or de-identify the data in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy.

• Rights to the Service itself, including screens, designs, logos, software, data structures, text, and feature configurations, belong to the Operator or the rightful rights holders.
• Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially use the Service without the prior consent of the Operator.
• Information, maps, place data, images, and text provided through external APIs or public web pages are subject to the policies and rights of the respective providers or original rights holders.

• The Operator may change or suspend all or part of the Service due to service improvements, bug fixes, security measures, changes in external API policies, or operational needs.
• The Operator may terminate the Service after prior notice, given the nature of individually operated services. In the event of urgent security issues, external service outages, or legal grounds, the Service may be restricted without prior notice.
• The Operator has no obligation to provide separate compensation for changes, suspension, or termination of features provided free of charge, except for liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

• The Service is a reference tool to assist with travel planning and does not guarantee actual travel outcomes, visitability, costs, transportation, weather, safety, reservation success, or itinerary fulfillment.
• The Operator is not responsible for damages arising from errors, delays, outages, or inaccuracies in external APIs, public web information, or third-party services, except where such damages are due to the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence, in which case applicable law applies.
• If a user makes decisions regarding reservations, payments, visits, travel, or purchases based on Service information, the final judgment and responsibility lies with the user.
• Service provision may be limited due to reasons beyond the Operator's reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, infectious diseases, government actions, communication failures, cloud outages, or external API outages.

• Users may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time through the in-app account deletion feature or by contacting the Operator via email.
• If a user violates these Terms or interferes with the operation of the Service, the Operator may restrict the user's access after prior notice, or immediately in urgent cases.
• Upon account deletion, personal information and user data will be deleted or retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

The Operator protects personal information processed in the course of providing the Service in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy. Details on the types of personal information collected, purposes of use, retention periods, use of external services, and how users may exercise their rights are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.

• These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• In the event of a dispute between the Operator and a user in connection with the use of the Service, both parties shall endeavor to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation.
• Disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be resolved in the competent court in accordance with applicable law.
